NDRates105 (c) download details. The download file NDRates105FULL.exe (0.9 MB) is a self extracting WinZip (c) file. It contains all the components and support files for NDRates (c). A two disk download is also available. When downloading, in reply to the download prompt, select Open and it will download and run the Unzip routine automatically. The following sections explains the NDRates105FULL.exe download. To unzip the download files if you did not open it and run it automatically during the download, select the Windows task bar START and RUN menu and run NDRates105FULL.exe The unzip process will copy all the required files into a directory called c:\ndrates. Check that your Excel menu option [Tools] [Macro] [Security] is set to [Medium] to allow Excel to use Visual Basic. Next load the unzipped Excel application c:\ndrates\NDRates105.xls. Tip: if you are upgrading, tick the unzip option 'Overwrite Files WithOut Prompting' to overwrite files without prompting. These are the old .HTM documentation and support files. Previous versions of NDRates (c) will not be overwritten, since they will have a different file name from NDRates105.xls (i.e. NDRates104.xls). NOTE: after unzipping the 'down load', if you have old desktop icons that point to or an earlier version please ensure that these now point to NDRates105.xls. Please satisfy yourself that you have tested the application before distributing it to users. Return to Download (click here). Getting started. The application is pre loaded with two portfolio's. These demonstrate split, merger and standard property calculations. To get started just double click any property in the demoproperties portfolio (bottom sheet tab to the left of the Main Menu sheet tab). Next we suggest you work your way through the 20 minute tutorial in the Help system. The following are a list of object libraries required. These are provided by Microsoft when you own a valid copy of Microsoft Office (c), Excel (c) and Windows (c).

Updating Fractions Sheet Data (20th November 2009) STEP 1. Download GlobalFractions105.exe (for NDRates105) of GlobalFractions104.exe (for NDRates104) and select OPEN to the download prompt. Tick the UNZIP box 'Overwrite files without prompting' (bottom left). Now select UNZIP in the Unzip prompt. This will create a new version of c:\ndrates\GlobalFractions105.xls (or c:\ndrates\GlobalFractions104.xls) by overwriting the old version. The latest version of GlobalFractions<number>.xls is dated 20th November 2009. STEP 2. Load NDRates105.xls (or the private name you allocated to it) or NDRates104.xls (or the private name you allocated to it). Select Main Menu option "Verify Fractions sheet". This will now state that the Fractions data is different - select Update YES and the UBR's values in the sheet Fractions will be changed automatically. The changed data is colour Cyan in the sheet "Fractions" sheet. If you want to remove the Cyan colour simply select Main Menu option "Verify Fractions sheet" again. This time, it will tell you the values are the same and automatically remove the Cyan colour. But, it is probably best to leave the Cyan colour indicators unchanged for now. STEP 3. SAVE NDRates<version>.xls (or the private name you allocated to it) to save the changes. * IMPORTANT NOTE. If you have created several version (clones) of NDRates.xls remember to update each clone. NDRates can be configured so that cloned copies can be update automatically with new Fractions sheet data. Please see the NDRates Set Option documentation or contact us for details.
