NDRates106 (c) download details.

The download file NDRates106FULL.exe (0.9 MB) is a self extracting WinZip (c) file. It contains all the components and support files for NDRates (c). A two disk download is also available. When downloading, in reply to the download prompt, select Open and it will download and run the Unzip routine automatically. Or select Save and a dialogue box is presented allowing you to select the directory for the download file. Please contact us to obtain an evaluation licence number. Telephone: 020 8552 3993.

The following sections explains the NDRates106FULL.exe download. 

To unzip the download files if you did not open it and run it automatically during the download, select the Windows task bar START and RUN menu and run NDRates106FULL.exe

The unzip process will copy all the required files into a directory called c:\ndrates. Check that your Excel menu option [Tools] [Macro] [Security] is set to [Medium] to allow Excel to use Visual Basic. Next load the unzipped Excel application c:\ndrates\NDRates106.xls.

Tip: if you are upgrading, tick the unzip option 'Overwrite Files WithOut Prompting' to overwrite files without prompting. These are the old .HTM documentation and support files. Previous versions of NDRates (c) will not be overwritten, since they will have a different file name from NDRates106.xls (i.e. NDRates105.xls).

NOTE: after unzipping the 'down load', if you have old desktop icons that point to or an earlier version please ensure that these now point to NDRates106.xls. Please satisfy yourself that you have tested the application before distributing it to users.

Getting started. The application is pre loaded with two portfolio's. These demonstrate split, merger and standard property calculations. To get started just double click any property in the demoproperties portfolio (bottom sheet tab to the left of the Main Menu sheet tab). Next we suggest you work your way through the 20 minute tutorial in the Help system.

The following are a list of object libraries required. These are provided by Microsoft when you own a valid copy of Microsoft Office (c), Excel (c) and Windows (c).
